Glossary

Academy” is defined as services we provide including, but not limited to, video lessons, chat support, video mentoring, email newsletters, events, and seminars to teach you how to use the No-Code Tools and to assist you if you have any problems with the No-Code Tools. This definition includes, but is not limited to, the following.

「A “User” is defined as a person who has registered an account on this website.

A “Member” is defined as a customer of the Company who has registered an account on the Website and subscribed to one of the Academy's learning plans.

Tutor” is defined as an employee of the Company or a third party collaborator (external tutor) who provides the Academy's services.

No-Code Tools” is defined as third party and our own product services featured in the Academy.

Acceptance of Terms of Use

By accessing, creating an account and using this Web site, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

Services

The following are included in the services we provide

1. Provision of teaching materials
   The provision of educational materials (texts, videos, and documents) created by the Company or its collaborators (individuals or corporations) by posting them on this website.
2. Chat Support
   ‍This is an answer to a question to a customer within our defined chat tool.
   1. Questions to be addressed will be limited to those related to the educational materials provided by the Company. We reserve the right to decline to respond to any other questions at our discretion.
   2. Answers to questions will be provided in chat or video format or in any other form we deem appropriate.
   3. We will respond to questions as soon as possible, but there is no set time frame from the time a question is submitted until it is answered.
3. Video call support
   A consultation booked by the member through the scheduling tool used by the Company or by way of communication with the instructor.
   1. The duration of each video call is limited to 45 minutes.
   2. Time may be extended as needed at the instructor's discretion.
   3. The content that can be discussed must be related to our teaching materials. For other questions, the instructor may refuse to answer at his/her discretion.
   4. The presence of a person other than the member who booked the video call must be approved in advance by the instructor.
   5. Recording or recording of video calls without prior permission is prohibited.

Subscription and Payment Terms

In order to use the Academy's services (excluding free services), you must subscribe to the appropriate plan.

How to subscribe and start using

To subscribe to a study plan, you must register a new account in advance. You can proceed to the purchase page by accessing the pricing plan page while logged into your account and clicking the “Buy” button for the plan of your choice. Once payment is completed and a subscription is issued by the payment system, you can start using the plan.

Contract renewal

Contract renewal periods can be selected from monthly and annual.

Failure to make payment at the time of contract renewal may result in suspension of service use.

Payment Management

Payment processing, payment method information and billing address information is performed using the Stripe payment system. Members can access the Stripe Portal (billing settings) to change or cancel their rate plan, change their billing address, and change, add, or delete payment methods.

Cancel

There are no refunds in case of cancellation in the middle of the contract. There is no cancellation fee in case of mid-contract cancellation.

User Account Management

Users must register for an account to access the Service.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information. Sharing login information with anyone other than the User himself/herself and allowing more than one person to use the account is prohibited.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a user's account for violation of the Terms.

User and member behavior

By registering on the Site or using the Services, users and members agree not to

• Threatening others with violence.
• Using hateful, abusive, harassing, slanderous, or obscene language against another person.
• Upload, publish, or distribute any material that infringes on the copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or other proprietary or proprietary rights of any third party.

Intellectual property

We retain intellectual property rights in all materials we provide and all text, video, or voice-based answers to member or user questions provided as part of our chat support service or video call support. This applies to both the member or user's own questions and those asked by other members or users in the shared community.

Third Party Tools and Services

Our educational materials show how to use tools that are provided by third parties and not controlled by us. Therefore, the Company assumes no responsibility for any differences between what the Company shows and how it actually works due to tools being updated by third-party providers. Minebea also assumes no responsibility for any problems that may occur due to the use of tools provided by third-party providers.

Privacy

Our collection, management and sharing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Cancellation

A user or member may cancel a subscribed plan by accessing the Stripe Portal through Account Settings. You may also request that your user or account be deleted. We will honor such requests, which will be fulfilled within 30 days, and delete as much data about the user as is appropriate. However, some data, such as purchase history, may remain in the systems of our third-party providers. Data retention may also be necessary.

Disclaimer

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, members, partners, agents and suppliers, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, members, partners, agents and suppliers, from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from your or their use of this Site, including, but not limited to, any breach of this Agreement by you or any member. General

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tokyo, Japan, and to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts for any claim or cause of action arising out of your use of this Site.
